Hands-on creative team building workshops in NYC. For offsites, retreats, client entertainment, and holiday parties.
For teams of 8 to 30 people. Expert facilitators, nine mediums to choose from, all materials provided. At our Midtown or Williamsburg studio, or we'll come to your office.
Guided Creative Workshops
Your team arrives at Drawing Room and is welcomed into a grounding space, away from screens and meeting rooms. The workshop runs 2.5 hours, led by professional facilitators who guide your group through hands-on making in your chosen medium: ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting, bookbinding, or textiles. No prior experience required.
Each person makes something unique to them. Witnessing one another in the vulnerable act of trying something new builds genuine trust and connection across roles and seniority. Teams leave with finished pieces and a different kind of energy than they came in with.
The session closes with a gallery walk and brief reflection. We can also build in space for short team conversations if your offsite has specific goals.
Starts at $160 per person. Large group pricing and off-site (to your office) options available. We invoice, accept POs, and accommodate dietary preferences.
Drawing Room Philosophy

By the way…
We are a socks and indoor slipper space. This helps keep our space clean (we have lots of beautiful rugs) and makes it super cozy (kick your feet up)! We do have shoe covers available for anyone who prefers to keep their shoes on, or socks for $1 if you forget them!
Participants must be 16+ to participate in workshops. No animals are allowed at workshops at this time.

Yes! Everything you need is fully supplied by Drawing Room. We set up the space before you arrive, and clean it all up for you after your session. You get the enjoy, and take your creation home!

No–we believe in making as thinking. Each participant creates something unique to themselves, not something predetermined. We are not following along, but rather creating from our own minds. But, don’t worry, our facilitators will guide you so you don’t get stuck!

No prior experience is required; all our workshops are beginner-friendly and our facilitators help you create something of your own.
We provide everything you need to create, you can just show up and prepare to try something new and have fun!

Yes. We bring the full workshop experience to your NYC office or offsite venue. We handle all materials, setup, and cleanup. Inquire for off-site pricing.

We invoice corporate clients, accept POs, and provide W9 documentation. Payment is typically due 14 days before the event.
