Art Mail
This summer, Drawing Room is partnering with Winsor & Newton! We’re excited to invite you to participate in Art Mail, enabling your art to travel and join a massive global watercolor gallery.
At both Drawing Room locations, paint a watercolor postcard, register it, and mail it to become part of our physical and digital exhibition! Read below to see how you can participate at our locations:
Paint-a-Postcard: Art Mail Kickoff Event
Wednesday, June 10, 2026 6:30 PM at Drawing Room Williamsburg
A kickoff to Art Mail Summer! Join us at Drawing Room Williamsburg to paint our postcards, with the guidance of Drawing Room hosts and instructors. We’ll provide all the materials you need – the paint, postcards, and some ideas!
We’ll mail them for you to participate in Winsor & Newton’s Art Mail campaign. Pieces are displayed in Winsor & Newton’s digital exhibition, and revealed in our physical exhibition at the end of the summer, during Gallery Night at Drawing Room Williamsburg. Also participate in a group project display by painting a single piece of a larger display piece.
Paint-a-Postcard: During Open Hours
All summer long, all participants in our Art Library or Clay Library are invited to participate in Art Mail during Open Hours, via our physical stations at both Drawing Room locations. All supplies are provided, including postcards and paints. Drop them in our onsite mailboxes to participate, then join us at the end of the summer at Gallery Night at Drawing Room Williamsburg!
Gallery Opening Night

Celebrate our gallery opening over drinks and snacks! A selection of Art Mail pieces from this summer are displayed in our Drawing Room’s Williamsburg gallery space, alongside our collaborative, mystery group project.
