Behind the Curtain
Some of what happens here does feel a little magical. But I've been building Drawing Room long enough to know it isn't luck. Almost all of it is sitting on something we built on purpose, and the reason it feels like magic is that you can't see any of that from inside the moment. So this is an attempt to show the scaffolding.
Fall is a New Start
Our theme this fall is Enchanted Forest. If you know the Drawing Room team, you know we love fairies and folklore, but this season we're focused on small magic. We're focused on the enchanted forests in our lives, the ones we pass by everyday.
What We're Practicing
The practice has three parts, and they happen in order. Notice, choose, share. Pretty much everything we run is some version of that loop.
Drawing Room: A Practice Space
People come to Drawing Room looking for a space for themselves. That might sound like wanting a place to relax. But from our perspective, it's more about being somewhere you don't have to be a specific version of yourself.
Why Spring Is the Season of Becoming
Spring isn't necessarily about optimizing. It's an opportunity to unfurl. Think of the ideas that make you lean forward and the version of you underneath your obligations and habits.
