Watercolor Classes in NYC

at Drawing Room

Watercolor doesn't always do what it's told — which can be liberating or frustrating, depending on where you are with control.

The medium bleeds. It blooms. Learning to work with that instead of against it turns out to be useful practice for a lot of things outside the studio.

Watercolor is one of the most portable creative practices there is. Once you have a relationship with it, it goes everywhere with you.

Beginner-friendly. No experience required. All materials including but not limited to paints, brushes, and paper are included for use during workshop. Take home the pieces you create.

2 locations: Midtown Manhattan + Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Class size: 10–15 students. Duration of workshops: 2.5 hours
