Looking for a creative private event in NYC that isn't another paint-and-sip? Printmaking is hands-on and immediate: your group carves, inks, presses, and within an hour everyone's holding a print they made themselves.
A favorite for corporate offsites, birthdays, bachelorettes, and friend-group nights. Groups of 8 to 30 are possible at our Midtown or Williamsburg locations (or we'll bring it to your office or venue!).
One of the best icebreakers we've found. People who insist they "aren't creative" almost always surprise themselves.
Beginner-friendly. All materials included. Everyone takes home the stamp they carved and the prints they made.
1. Arrival and welcome
Your group arrives to name tags, fresh coffee, and our loose-leaf tea station. We greet everyone, get them settled, and your facilitator opens with short intros to deepen the experience. Allow about 15 minutes for everyone to filter in.
2. Design + carve together
Everyone designs and carves their own block. We can chat about our designs, and we’ll get focused here! Your facilitator circulates to help anyone who's stuck or hesitating.
3. Print, share and gallery walk
We learn to ink and create our prints, and enjoy the charm of printmaking. We close with a gallery walk to see what everyone made. Your group leaves with their prints, their stamps, and photos worth sharing.

By the way…
We are a socks and indoor slipper space. This helps keep our space clean (we have lots of beautiful rugs) and makes it super cozy (kick your feet up)! We do have shoe covers available for anyone who prefers to keep their shoes on, or socks for $1 if you forget them!
Please note our workshops have a stricter age and pup restrictions than Open Hours. Participants must be 16+ to participate in workshops. No animals are permitted during workshops at this time.

Yes! Everything you need is fully supplied by Drawing Room. We set up the space before you arrive, and clean it all up for you after your session. You get to enjoy, and take your creation home!

No–we believe in making as thinking. Each participant creates something unique to themselves, not something predetermined. We are not following along, but rather creating from our own minds. But, don’t worry, our facilitators will guide you so you don’t get stuck!

No prior experience is required; all our workshops are beginner-friendly and our facilitators help you create something of your own.
We provide everything you need to create, you can just show up and prepare to try something new and have fun!
