“My background in dance informs the way that I approach classes. I often begin with collective breath or physical warm-up and in all my classes I encourage my students to explore the connections between their bodies and their mark-making, lines, or brushstrokes. My approach to teaching is also deeply rooted in a sense of play.

I believe that the magic of art-making so often comes from experimentation. I encourage my students to not seek perfection, but to cultivate an ongoing sense of wonder for the world and find joy in the process of becoming an artist and falling in love with the world around them.”
