Guided Creative Workshops
Arrive at Drawing Room and be transported to a grounding space where your team can show up authentically. Ease in with fresh coffee and our loose-leaf tea station.
Our experiences are 2.5 hours each, during which our facilitators guide groups through hands-on making practices (drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, and textiles). No prior experience necessary. Everyone explores their own creative voice at their own pace.
Each person creates something unique to them, not a predetermined outcome. People witness one another in the vulnerable act of trying something new. The shared creative challenge builds genuine connection. Participants leave with a tangible artifact and renewed energy.
Closes with a gallery walk and reflection.

Drawing Room Philosophy
Making is thinking. In the act of creating, people practice essential leadership capacities: directedness, decision-making, iterative thinking, and confidence in their own judgment. Making together amplifies these benefits.
When teams make together, they build trust through shared vulnerability. People witness each other’s creative process, see how colleagues handle uncertainty and adaptation, and experience authentic collaboration in low-stakes conditions. This translates into more effective teamwork.

By the way…
We are a socks and indoor slipper space. This helps keep our space clean (we have lots of beautiful rugs) and makes it super cozy (kick your feet up)! We do have shoe covers available for anyone who prefers to keep their shoes on, or socks for $1 if you forget them!
Participants must be 16+ to participate in workshops. No animals are allowed at workshops at this time.

Yes! Everything you need is fully supplied by Drawing Room. We set up the space before you arrive, and clean it all up for you after your session. You get the enjoy, and take your creation home!

No–we believe in making as thinking. Each participant creates something unique to themselves, not something predetermined. We are not following along, but rather creating from our own minds. But, don’t worry, our facilitators will guide you so you don’t get stuck!

No prior experience is required; all our workshops are beginner-friendly and our facilitators help you create something of your own.
We provide everything you need to create, you can just show up and prepare to try something new and have fun!
